Basic Info BioName: Midou Ban
Birthday, Age: 12/17, 18
Residence/General Location: Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
Height: 175cm
Weight: 58kg
Physical Appearance: Midou Ban is a casual young man that differs not from the general crowd of Shinjuku. Majority of the oddities upon him are physically apparent, however a stranger would not be able to fathom them.
We begin with Ban's spiked and tousled brown hair. Commonly known as a 'sea urchin' for such a style, he blames it on his dear friend, electric eel Amano Ginji. Seeking beyond the scalp and forehead, a pair of bright sapphires would be found. These are the singular signs of Midou Ban's quarter-German ancestry.
His dress is simplistic, as he cannot afford much more than something of it's caliber. Specifically, upon him is a slightly worn button down shirt, adorned so that the tails might be separated. Beneath that rests a black undershirt, used occasionally to bond wounds. Next, a pair of slightly loose dark pants, along with that plain belt to hold them upon his form. Upon his feet are a pair of scuffed brown shoes, as old as they are useful. Most important than any of the items is a pair of tinted oculars, what he's dubbed as 'anti-jagan glasses'.
Last but not least, a lit cigarette can generally be found between the young man's lips.
Personality/Special Abilities/Talents: There is one word that can describe Midou Ban; egotistical. He has every right to be, what with his keen battle sense and extraordinary power. He's rather cold, straightforward, and uncaring due to his past, among other things. The only person that seems to be able to bring him out of his ice-like state is his partner and best friend, Amano Ginji. With him, he's slightly more upbeat, and far more... well, odd.
He is known as a 'cold hearted snake' for more than simply his bastardly exterior -- within his right arm is Aesclepius, an extremely strong spirit that he summons at rare points in time. Of course, that is not the only thing he boasts -- 200kg of grip rests within his hands, something he's dubbed 'snake bite', suitably. Another awesome ability of his is to instill hallucinations into the minds of others. With the simple meeting of his eyes, he is able to use his 'jagan', the evil eye, and send them into the nightmare of his choice.
Some other special talents of his are awkward and uncharacteristic. He is able to play a mean violin ditty, and knows quite a lot about random subjects, such as art and bombs.
Current Status: Ban is currently self-employed as a GetBacker; he and Amano Ginji work the retrieval business as the team GetBackers, with a near 100% success rate. He's rather prideful of his service, despite the lacking amount of money that it brings in. Noting that, he and his partner are without a home -- they live in his precious Subaru 360, "Miss Ladybug". This, along with the Honky Tonk -- a cafe located in Shinjuku, where he occasionally loiters -- is where he can be found.
... Not to mention, he and his partner sometimes advertise their own business out on the street corners, but we won't go into that.
History: Although much of his background is unknown -- especially to those other than Ginji -- there are several important things that do occasionally blast him from their states in the past...
The most frequent is Kudou Himiko. Ban worked with her and her brother, Kudou Yamato, for an unknown period of time before he met Ginji. They were his first friends, and times went quite happily until unfortunate events occurred. For reasons dealing with Himiko's fate, Ban ended up murdering Kudou Yamato -- a deed that Himiko has yet to forgive Ban for.
Earlier on, it is known that Ban spent several years with his German grandmother. Not much is known about his stay, other than during that time he gained in knowledge of his own abilities, and history. Eventually he ended up with Maria, an older woman -- despite her appearance -- who taught him various things during his small amount of time with her. From here it is supposed that Ban would join up with Himiko and Yamato...
After the incident with the Kudou's, Ban's whereabouts and activities are again unknown. An unspecific amount of time later, he would challenge the Raitei of Mugenjou's Lower Town. Despite the fact that it is untold who won the battle, or how, it is known that in the end he and the Raitei, now Amano Ginji, would leave Mugenjou and partner to be the GetBackers.
